Flat Lid Storage Basket

Maker: Mbare

This minimalist White Patterned Low Storage Basket with a flat lid adds a touch of handmade global decor to any room. A perfect storage container, it has both practical functionality and a minimalist, contemporary,  yet unique look that would  fit well practically in any space. Use it as a hamper for towels in the bathroom, to store throw pillows in the living room or bedroom, or even in your entryway for scarves, etc - its uses are endless! It also looks great with the other white baskets as a focal point in any room.

Wolof women in rural Senegal weave these baskets from millet grass, and black plastic threads which add strength and durability.  No two pieces look exactly the same.
